Hunter, Lancias and Rock'n'Roll

I've been to see Iron Maiden last night. They are such an amazing band, but given that I have been listening to the crazy mixture of The Who and Larry Miller recently I wasn't able to fully appreciate Bruce's efforts to wow me with his singing. Epic show though, and I am not afraid to use the word "epic" in this context. Speaking of Larry Miller, he is actually performing at the Gloucester Blues festival on Sunday (yes, 5 miles down the road from where the AGM is going to be!) I saw Larry at the Cleethorpes Blues Festival last month and he is probably my best discovery of 2011 in music. I was kinda hoping to see him in Gloucester, but I just can't be in two places at once, so gotta wait till he plays somewhere more locally. September 30th, Sheffield, anyone fancies a bit of blues?

Now, on a completely different note. I'll tell you a story. Ages ago I have come across a note on this girls blog about her "coming out" as a blogger to her real life friends and family. Granted, she was a fashion blogger and those types have no shame posing around in their posh frocks (or lack of them), so I can see the dilemma.

See, it was all well funny to me then, but in every joke... etc etc. My blog is about all things Lancia in it's essence, but through the prism (or shall that be Prisma?) of my mind. It's hardly a personal journal, but up until now I've had difficulties telling people about it in person. I've been to so many events and spoke to so many Lancisti and had the cheek to post about it on the blog, yet I've not opened my mouth and said "by the way, I'm also running that spot a lancia blog and you're gonna be on there".

Just to make up for it, and before anyone else finds it and posts it somewhere else, here's the Hunter about 8 years ago featuring (my goodness!) on Lancisti.net gallery. Enjoy...

Now some sad news: the garage days feature is going to be scrapped. The reason being is that dad is already writing his own reports on some forum  and my interference is only causing conflicts, so its only fair if I leave it to him.

P.S. Can't wait for the AGM, wish I was going on Saturday, too, but circumstances... nevermind. See you all on Sunday!
