About that review...

Just a few words about the show itself. It has been 11 days since the opening, but the madness never stopped. The human traffic jam was worse than the one at M&S on Boxing Day. It took us 5 hours to blitz through 8 pavilions, and I mean "blitz". The place is just massive!

The whole event must have been occurring under the flag of eco-friendliness and CO2 emissions; they even had a whole pavilion dedicated to electric cars! Pretty much every car manufacturer has produced some sort of eco-friendly concept car to throw at the public. Unfortunately, I am not into saving the planet, so all decorations and massive plugs have been wasted on me.

Speaking of trends, I have picked up on two main things: matt finish and "squinted" front lights. I'm all up for matt, looked extremely mean, however not sure how it would behave in the real world. New Delta is a good example, see how it's going to cope!

Highlight of the day: seeing yet another genuine Stratos (so far I've seen 7 real ones) and the new Jag.
Joke of the day: Citroen Lacoste. You had to be there.
Disappointment of the day: De Tomaso display and age limit on karting.

P.S. I got myself a Lancia carrier bag and some brochures. Next time I go food shopping I'll bring it along. And it's not because I turned green all of a sudden.

P.P.S. Kia Pop looks like it was designed by Apple. Honestly. Mind you, if it was, do you think they would have called it iKia?
